The basic "AMAZON ANTI-TOBACCO" formulation has been used as a study criterion, and has been used by 2,547 addicted smokers since November 1997. A double-blind method was utilized to prove the efficacy of the product. The first group of 1,000 people (Group A) Used a placebo named "Alpha" and the remaining people (Group B) used the "Amazon Anti-Tobacco" formula. After three months of tests, 0.3% of Group A's people stopped smoking due to psychological reasons, since they had used a placebo. 1,300 people from Group B discontinued their smoking habit due to the daily use of the "Amazon Anti-Tobacco" formula. The other 247 Group B users discontinued treatment within the first two weeks of the study and therefore they were not successful in giving up their smoking habit. One year later an evaluation detected that amongst those who had quit the vice, half of them resumed their smoking habit.

The "Amazon Anti-Tobacco" formula was applied on all 3,000 users in this study. Besides being addicted smokers, some of the patients had respiratory problems, such asthma, general dysplasia, cough (spasmodic, nervous, whooping) and/or bronchitis. After six months of use of the "Amazon Anti-Tobacco by the patients it was proven that 96% of those who had respiratory problems felt better with the daily use of the Amazon Anti-Tobacco formula.
